Freelancers with international clients who hold or receive money in several currencies through Wise multi-currency accounts.
Tally Assistant imports Wise statement CSVs per balance, keeping each transaction in its original currency and converting to your base currency at daily rates for reports. Conversion fees import as expenses. File-based import means no Wise account connection.
Wise balances export separately per currency, and there is no automatic sync. Re-export whenever you want fresh data.
What to watch out for
Every transaction keeps its original currency. Reports convert all amounts to your chosen base currency using daily exchange rates, so a USD client and a EUR client still produce one bottom line.
They import as expense transactions, so they are recorded whether or not they qualify as deductions. Your accountant can judge deductibility from the records.
