Import N26 Statements into Tally Assistant

N26 offers statement downloads in CSV and PDF from the app and web banking. German-language accounts export standard CSV layouts.

European freelancers, especially German-speaking ones, who want CSV imports in a tool that reads international formats.

Export your N26 file

  1. 1Open N26 and go to the account statement or transaction export area.
  2. 2Choose CSV as the export format and the period you need.
  3. 3Download the file and upload it as-is. Column detection handles the layout automatically.

What happens after upload

  • German and other European CSV layouts are detected automatically, including date order and decimal separators.
  • Merchant names are matched to categories in English and the source language.
  • Imports feed the same dashboard, reports, and tax-friendly exports as any other file.

What to watch out for

  • If your statement exports with semicolon separators (common in German CSVs), the importer handles that automatically.
