Import Alipay (支付宝) Statements into Tally Assistant

Alipay lets you download transaction bills as CSV from the app's bill export feature. The layout includes Chinese column headers.

Export your Alipay (支付宝) file

  1. 1Open Alipay and go to the bill or statement export area in the app.
  2. 2Choose the export period and format, then confirm.
  3. 3The file lands in your downloads. Upload it directly to Tally Assistant.

What happens after upload

  • Chinese-language CSV headers are detected automatically, so no column mapping is needed.
  • Transaction types (income, expense, transfer) are recognized and categorized for review.
  • Amounts stay in CNY, convertible to your base currency with daily rates.

What to watch out for

  • The export period is chosen at export time. Pick the range that matches the month or year you are importing.
  • Red packets and transfers between your own accounts should be reviewed and labeled as transfers.
